1.DESCRIPTION

Lactase, also known as beta-galactosidase (CAS No.9031-11-2,EC3.2.1.23). It was prepared from Aspergillus oryzae by fermentation and extraction.
Lactase has high activity under suitable pH conditions.
Mainly used in dairy processing and other industries, or as dietary supplements.

2.WORKING MECHANISM

Lactase (β-galactosidase) can break down the β-galactoside bond in lactose molecules to produce glucose and galactose.

3.PROPERTIES
Temperature range: effective temperature range 4-70℃, optima temperature range 40-60℃.
PH range: Effective pH range 2.0-7.5, optimal pH range 4.0-5.5.

4.SPECIFICATION
Product specifications: White solid powder, 100000U/g, 150000U/g.
Definition of enzyme activity: The amount of enzyme required by 1g lactase to decompose ONPG(o-nitrobenzenβ-D-galactopyranoside) to produce 1μmol ONP (o-nitrophenol) per minute at pH4.5 and 37℃, that is, 1 enzyme activity unit, expressed in U/g.
● Product standard: GB1886.174 "Food Safety national Standard Food Additive Enzyme preparations for food industry".

5.APPLICATION GUIDE
●Used in yoghurt processing to produce lactose-free yoghurt.
● For dietary supplementation.
●Adding lactase to feed can reduce the probability of lactose intolerance in animals. Adjust the addition according to different lactose content in animal feed.
